Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas blamed Israel for killing Palestinian writer Shireen Abu Akleh and asked the US to arraign her executioners.

Abbas declared before the Unified Countries (UN) General Gathering that Israel is killing the Palestinian nation without responsibility, as it did with Shireen Abu Akleh: “Who was killed by a rifleman’s slug expected to kill her, and Israel conceded that the marksman did to be sure kill her.”

He added that Abu Akleh holds American citizenship notwithstanding her Palestinian ethnicity and asked: “I challenge the US to rebuff, consider responsible or arraign the executioners who killed her. Why? Since they are Israelis.”

Abu Akleh was killed by Israeli shots on 11 May while covering an Israeli military activity in Jenin camp in the northern involved West Bank.

Interestingly, the Israeli occupation armed force conceded for this present month that there is a “high chance” that one of its fighters killed the Palestinian writer in May.

Abu Akleh was wearing a tactical armor carrier with “press” embellished across it and a defensive cap when a projectile hit her.
