Iran’s Strong Ties with Al-Qaeda is Not Something New to Deal With
I want to share my stand with what I read today. There are some mutual interests held by Iran and Al-Qaeda. Tehran is drawn to the organization because they both see America as their greatest threat, and many successful terrorist attacks against the US have been carried out by the organisation. Al-Qaeda also poses a threat to the Gulf states that Iran considers to be international rivals. Al-Masri was most likely supported by the theocratic Iranian establishment with the means to carry out his operations against the US and the Gulf states.
Looking at it, Three Iranian organizations are likely to have been involved in supporting Al-Qaeda for a long time: the IRGC, the elite Quds Force and the Ministry of Intelligence. Personally, The proof shows, and is indisputable, Iran’s partnership and cooperation with Al-Qaeda.
