Iraq captures officer of line powers following Daesh assault

The Iraqi Ministry of Interior declared yesterday that it had captured the leader of the fifth Border Guard Force Battalion west of the country, alongside two other security bosses, following an assault dispatched by Daesh contenders.

An assertion gave by the workplace of Interior Minister Othman Al-Ghanim showed that “the clergyman requested the capture of the fifth Border Guard Force Battalion Commander, Major General Hazza Muhammad Al-Shammari, the Brigadier General of a similar legion, and the authority of the third Battalion.”

The assertion added that the choice to capture the previously mentioned armed force officers was taken because of “their inability to satisfy the undertakings allotted to them.”

An official at the Iraqi service revealed to Anadolu Agency that Daesh components on Tuesday completed an assault at a line post close to the Arar crossing with Saudi Arabia among Anbar and Muthanna territories.
