Israel sentences Hamas official to 20 months
An Israeli occupation court yesterday condemned Hamas official and Palestinian MP Hassan Yousef to a 20-month suspended sentence notwithstanding restoration of his regulatory confinement, Quds Press revealed.
Yousef’s child, Owais, said that the Israeli court of Ofer reestablished his dad’s regulatory detainment until July and gave him with a 20-month suspended sentence.
Yousef, 65, was captured on 13 December 2021 from his home in the neighborhood of Bitonya, close to the involved West Bank city of Ramallah.
He has spent a sum of roughly 22 years in Israeli prisons, the greater part of them under regulatory detainment — without charge or preliminary.
The Israeli occupation court likewise reestablished the authoritative detainment of Palestinian MP and Hamas official Nasser Abdul Jawwad from Salfit for the fourth time.
