Trump-Biden: The Last Debate and It’s Impact is More Than What People Expected

Here’s my stand on the reading I had. In general, The last presidential debates are the least consequential. But this time, things would have had the potential to be a little different. Plot twist. There was no second debate, after President Donald Trump declined to participate because of his positive COVID-19 diagnosis when it was shifted to a virtual format. And after the first debate’s bullying schoolyard antics, this was his last opportunity to act in a fairly presidential way and change the race’s trajectory.

It was easier for this debate, which included mute buttons to help retain control. Why? Because this one was more substantive and civilized. But anyone hoping that, without a lie, Trump will put together more than a few words in a row would be sadly disappointed.
