Trump goes on and off about conceding elections, court dismisses his lawsuit

The United States President has a few days left in the White House and the republican is not ready to concede his loss despite pressure from the officials. He had earlier decided to accept the loss but kept going back on his words and talked about.

But these attempts by the Trump administration have been completely dismissed by the courts as his last hope in Pennsylvania, has also gone out of his hands. As per a report in BBC, a panel consisting of three judges has rejected any merit in the case filed by the Trump administration saying that the present government failed to provide any specific proof for their allegation.

This is being touted as the worst setback for Trump because after Georgia, he was relying his hopes on this state and with the court’s current ruling, his hopes have come down to dust. The incumbent president earlier completely dismissed the November 3 elections result which deemed Joe Biden as the president-elect.

The stance Trump is holding right is questioned by many political experts who believe that he keeps going back on his words. He tweeted on Thursday saying that he will only accept his loss when Biden proves that his votes are not illegally obtained.

The court made it clear that Trump thinking the election to be unfair does not make it unfair. The view of the court was represented by Judge Stephanos Bibas who said through the statement that ‘Charges of unfairness are serious’.

“Charges require specific allegations and then proof. We have neither here,” wrote Judge Bibas. Bibas was chosen by Trump to represent the point of the party.

After the US election results were made clear, the Trump administration filed a series of lawsuits alleging that Biden had committed voter fraud which made him win the elections. But this has been of no use.

Biden managed to cross the 270 mark needed to get into the White House on November 8. If Trump continues to be adamant and does openly concede his loss, it will not make much of a difference as the democrat leader will anyways be sworn in as 46th president of the United States.

However, the courts and the electoral facilities are given time till December 8 to solve all the issues related to the democratic process and make a clear proposal. It is expected that the oldest leader ever to take of White House will have his swearing-in ceremony on January 20 next year.
