Tunisia specialists recuperate 21 assortments of foreigners south of the country

The Tunisian National Office for Civil Protection (ONPC) on Friday recuperated the collections of 21 migrants whose boat sank off the shoreline of Sfax while attempting to wrongfully cross to Italy.

Head of the ONPC in the governorate, Mourad Al-Mishri, revealed to Anadolu Agency that the collections of the transients were recuperated 2.5 nautical miles from the bank of Sfax.

Al-Mishri added that the specialists recuperated collections of individuals from Sub-Saharan Africa, including two children.

He expressed: “The transient boat sank yesterday, while the reasons for the sinking and the number of travelers onboard are at this point unclear.”

Al-Mishri proceeded: “Search activities led by National Guard units, the Navy, and jumpers from the Civil Protection components for conceivable missing people on board the boat are as yet in progress.”
