UAE considering to suspend Visas for Nepal, Bangladesh & Nigeria

Government of UAE deciding to suspend Visas for ex-pats from Nepal, Bangladesh, and Nigeria. But still, the govt not announced officially, as per the source government may be considering like this.

Nepal, Bangladesh, and Nigeria governments have not taken any action to bring back their migrants stranded in the gulf country in this COVID pandemic situation. According to an unofficial source, the UAE government is looking at the possibility of making this decision.

A lot of Migrant workers have lost their jobs during this curfew situation, they are in poor living conditions, because of this shutdown and want to go back to their home country. But these countries are hesitant to bring back their citizens.

As per an informal source, the Emirati government had made a few solicitations with these governments to reclaim their nationals. Be that as it may, these governments are yet to demonstrate any pledge to their nationals’ repatriation.

These local governments have even neglected to permit vagrants to get back who needed to visit their nation for yearly holidays. The Nepalese government has gone under criticism for the late pace at which it has been organizing the repatriation of its nationals. Moreover, 17,000 visa holders from Nepal want to return, but don’t know when they will be allowed to back home. Recently some of them started a protest outside the Nepalese Embassy in Abu Dhabi. They also spread the Posts of inactive government on Social Media.

Foreign Minister of Bangladesh Dr.AK Abdul Momen convinced Emirati Sultan Abdullah bin Zayad to permit Bangladeshi migrants to remain back.

UAE extended months lockdown because of check the spread COVID Pandemic. But in May, Migrants from India and Pakistan were returned their home. However it is, Don’t know how many ex-pats still stranded in UAE.
